Gallery 263 is pleased to present IN OVER UNDER THROUGH –
A Curatorial Proposal Series exhibition of large-scale, colorful and visually charged abstract works on paper. This exhibit brings together the work of two artists, quilter and embroiderer Sean Riley, and commercial textile designer Jessica Slaven , for whom the processes of weaving, unweaving, embroidering, dyeing, and sewing – typically reserved for fabrics and fiber – have come to inhabit their drawing and painting practices.
Now showing at Gallery 263, 263 Pearl St, Cambridge MA from January 7th until February 6th, 2016.
Workshop: Sunday January 31, 2016 from 2pm until 4pm.
